BayLUG Meeting @ MoAH February 25, 2012

Public Meeting Times and Location:

11am to 4pm.

BayLUG Members' setup begins at 10:30am. Teardown will begin at 3:30pm.

You do not have to stay the entire time.

Families are reminded that at least one parent is required to remain with your child(ren) while at all BayLUG meetings.

 

PLEASE SCROLL to the bottom to sign up for a whole or half of a table to display and/or buy/sell/trade LEGO, if desired.

Tables around the walls are already in place. IF you sign up for a "Member supplied" table in the middle of the room YOU need to bring the table with you.

Parts Dump:
Angel and Miguel should have self-service elements available for purchase as usual.

Approximate times: ~11am to 12:30pm and ~1:30 to 3:30pm following the contest.

 

LEGO Games:

If folks bring some LEGO games, they can be played from 11am-1pm as players arrive/wish, and maybe after the Kids Activity?

 

BUILDING CONTEST:

Theme: MOVIES, as described on the meeting notice webpage.

You must be a BayLUG Member to participate in the contest. Build your contest entry that follows the theme at home, and bring it to the meeting.

Contest Judging Time: 1pm.

Please place an index card with your NAME and AGE, and creation title on it, or your BayLUG badge, next to your creation. You should be present to describe your creation to the members present at 1pm.

Judging is by age group. If there is more than 1 entry in an age group, the winning entry in that group will be determined by a secret ballot poll of the members present.

 

KIDS ACTIVITY

We have a new Kid's Koordinator!

This month's activity will be to build a town. Everything will be provided: baseplates, LEGO,
and some very simple example buildings. You can also bring a small building or instructions if you'd like.

To reserve a table/space for display and/or to buy/sell/trade LEGO, please click the edit tab (at top of page) and modify the list below the following room layout diagram.

Replace the word "unclaimed" with your name to claim a table/space.

Locations marked "vendor" have priority for Angel/Miguel (bulk brick vendor).

Locations marked "Game/Kid Activity" and/or with the word Priority in them have priority for club use, if any, and you may be bumped at any time.

Tables/space marked RESERVED is not generally available for member use.

If additional table space is needed, members may set up their own tables in the breezeway outside the main entrance door, weather permitting.

 

 

 

NOTES:

You may claim/sign up for a half or whole table/space. If you do not state "Half" of similar by your name below, we assume you want/will bring a whole table.

Prior to the Friday before the meeting, you can sign up for a maximum of 1 whole table inside the Learning Center. IF there are unclaimed tables on the Friday before the meeting, you may sign up for 1 additional inside table.

"(Member supplied)" below means YOU must bring a table (half or whole, but no larger than a 3' by 5' whole table) to occupy the space you claim below!
